The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (the Ministry) acts in the world to make New Zealanders safer and more prosperous. We are looking to enhance and extend the capability of the Ministry across a wide spectrum of activity, including foreign policy, development, trade, and support services – all with the aim of delivering on the Government’s priorities.
We have a number of new Manager opportunities, across a number of our Divisions. These Unit Manager roles are varied and each offer scope to influence and provide exciting steps in a global, public sector career.
You will provide strategic direction and leadership across your portfolio and lead a team to ensure the achievement of the strategic priorities and high level outcomes in the Ministry’s Strategic Framework. You will also have a specific policy management role with respect to several thematic areas and geographic desks.
