Are you a high performing administrator with significant experience supporting managers to organise their work, manage projects and teams and successfully deliver?

We have fixed term vacancy to June 2022 within the Te Iho | Organisational Performance Group based in our historical building on Lambton Quay in the heart of the CBD.

Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role

This role provides the full breadth of team administration and support to Te Iho – Organisational Performance Group and high-quality business support to their wider teams. You anticipate demands and pro-actively manage constantly changing diary and meeting requests. There will be lots of variety including preparation of documents for ministers, supplies to order, travel arrangements to make, invoices to pay, budgets to monitor, and reporting information to prepare. The role also provides cover for our reception as and when required.

Due to business needs, you will be required to be in the office on Fridays.

As the Team Administrator you will have the following:

  • Superb organisational skills,
  • Great attention to detail and
  • A flexible “can do” attitude

Your ability to prioritise work and build professional rapport with internal and external stakeholders will contribute to your success in this role.

It would be advantageous if you have an understanding of the machinery of government and are familiar with government processes. An interest in the arts, heritage, media and/or sport sectors would also be beneficial.
