We are committed to delivering whānau -centered care that focuses on the health and wellbeing of children and their whānau.  Getting to know our communities, working closely with them, removing inequities and barriers to health care for priority populations, are key drivers for us each day.

We are currently seeking an experienced Te Pou Takawaenga to join our team.  You will act as kaitakawaenga to support the positive engagement of tamariki, rangatahi and whānau with health and social services.   A working knowledge of whānau ora practice forms the foundation of this mahi.  A demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong networks with iwi and urban Māori health and social service agencies will be essential to the success of this role.  Ideally you will have child and family social work experience including child protection.

To apply for this role you must have a strong sense of team and leadership.  You will be committed to providing cultural support and improving health outcomes for children and their whānau.  It is essential that you are a registered Social Worker and have a clean full driver’s license.
