Fixed-term Summer Accommodation Receptionist
We are seeking two fixed-term, part-time Summer Accommodation Receptionist to join our busy and supportive team.
About the role
The Accommodation team, which is part of the Campus Life service division at the University of Auckland, is now recruiting 2018-19 summer period. Reporting to, and supporting our Operations Manager – Summer Receptionists will provide administrative support in organising our summer bookings and services, and other support services to staff, and be a friendly approachable point of reference for individuals or groups of individuals on the front desk.
Skills and experience
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Experience with cash handling and monetary transactions
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service experience
- Previous administration experience and be confident with office products and software systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Sound and mature judgement
Both fixed-term positions are 20 hours part-time, paying $21.00 per hour.
Position 1: One Receptionist will work on a five-day roster over Monday-Sunday. Flexibility with time is desired as work hours will be in the early afternoon to 7pm.
Position 2: One Receptionist would work for five hours on Friday and 9am – 5pm Saturday and Sunday (also 20 hours). Please indicate which works for you in your cover letter.
