We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person with a love of quantitative research who is keen work with us on a ground-breaking study exploring how people’s relationships influence their health.
This opportunity, for a suitably qualified and experienced Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow, is based within Social and Community Health at the University of Auckland’s Tāmaki Campus.
Duties will include:
- Monitoring data quality
- Epidemiologic analyses of data
- Planning for and implementing data linkage between the survey data and Government agency data sets
- Writing papers for peer reviewed journals
The successful applicant will have:
- A PhD in a relevant field
- Demonstrable experience on research projects
- High level knowledge of statistical analysis packages
- A track record of collaborative, high quality research
This is a fixed term position for a period of 15 months. It is primarily available on a full time basis (40 hours per week); however, consideration will be given for hours between 0.6 and 1.0 FTE.
