Full-Time Senior Project Manager – Wellington

This Senior Project Manager will be responsible for pay equity claim investigations, which needs a strategic focus working with multiple stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience in a business project management position, where you have been responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects.
This role requires someone that has excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and sustain productive relationships and partnerships across all levels of the business.
Working with the project team to create a feasible and fully integrated project plan that achieves the goals and objectives of the project and aligns with the Ministry’s overall pay equity strategy, you will lead the project team to deliver equitable pay equity outcomes, while maintaining formal project artefacts and a controlled change process.
You will identify, plan and secure the required resources and resourcing needs both in terms of skills/experience and numbers to achieve project objectives, ensuring the pipeline of resources to match future demand. Fundamental understanding of project and product lifecycle and methodologies with the ability to adapt and implement fit for purpose management approach.
Excellent documentation/communication/presentation skills to liaise with stakeholders will be essential. Excellent interpersonal skills, confidence, and ability to interact professionally with people at all levels.
