He angitūtanga: The opportunity

Panuku Development Auckland (Eke Panuku) is recruiting for a Senior Advisor Māori Outcomes. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality policy advice, hold key internal and external relationships, and champion our work to create positive outcomes for Māori.

Over several years, iwi have shared with Eke Panuku their priorities, and now we need someone to muck in and get the mahi done. He kōrero mōu: About you

Eke Panuku is looking for someone with experience working for central or local government, iwi entities, or relevant NGOs.

Both relationship building and an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi is essential in our work. Ideally, you have experience working in a complex stakeholder environment. For example, an understanding of mana whenua and mataawaka interests in Tāmaki Makaurau will be advantageous.

You should have an appreciation of tikanga me reo Māori, or at minimum, a willingness to learn and upskill.
