Senior Lecturer/Lecturer – Dentist with Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Periodontology
1.0 FTE / Fulltime
We are seeking an academic to join us in a permanent fulltime capacity. We are the Department of Oral Health in the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences, based on the North Shore Campus in Auckland, New Zealand.
The Department of Oral Health was established in 2002. The main focus of the department is to provide education through a Bachelor of Health Science in Oral Health which combines dental therapy and hygiene practice. Oral Health research is also important within the department and there are projects currently underway in the areas of risk factors for oral health disease and health promotion.
You will have strong teaching and research interests and clear potential to make a senior contribution to our academic programme development, emerging research capacity and to fostering links with relevant community health agencies.
We are looking to appoint a Dentist with a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Periodontology who has expertise in educational leadership and these aspects of oral health practice to teach and supervise students in the AUT North Campus, NorthMed Clinic in Northcote and Buckland Road Clinic in Mangere.
