Casual Senior Financial Accountant

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant on a contract basis to provide timely and accurate financial accounting, tax and reporting support to the University’s group finance community.
You will play a key role in the development, maintenance and communication of finance policies, procedures, audit and compliance while leading the coordination of the Group monthly, annual financial, board reporting, funder reports and any other statutory reporting requirements.
- A bachelors degree with a major in accounting, finance or equivalent
- Current CA/CPA membership with a professional institute (or equivalent)
- At least 5 years post CA/CPA qualification in a similar or relevant role
- Experience with advanced Financial and Accounting ERP software systems
- Consolidations, year end and audit experience essential
- Knowledge of value financials would be highly desirable
- Strong ability to deliver and meet timelines
- Ability to deal with change and ambiguity
- Stakeholder and customer management skills
A knowledge of PeopleSoft Finance, Hyperion would be desirable.
