Full-Time Senior Communications & Marketing Advisor – Auckland Bioengineering Institute

The Auckland Bioengineering Institute (ABI) is a large-scale institute whose research deals with the application of mathematical and engineering sciences to biology and human physiology. We aim to improve understanding of physiological processes and the diagnosis and treatment of injury or disease.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior communications & marketing advisor to join us and build the profile of ABI and MedTech CoRE by taking responsibility for the development and execution of marketing, communications and campaigns for multiple audiences across a range of platforms.
To be successful in this role, you will need experience working in an environment requiring high levels of customer service delivery. You will need superior interpersonal skills coupled with a proven history of stakeholder management. Your key accountabilities will include:

To be successful in this role, you will need experience in a diverse range of marketing and advertising activities across online, print and digital media. You will be confident building relationships with senior members of staff and be able to demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills through relationship management, advocacy and negotiation both inside the University and with external stakeholders.
