Scholarship Adviser – Academic Services (Fixed Term)
The Scholarships Office sits within Academic Services and is responsible for the payment of around $50M in Scholarships, Prizes and Awards each year.
We are seeking a competent, energetic and empathetic person who to provide scholarships advice to current and prospective University of Auckland students. This role also provides administrative services related to scholarships, prizes and awards.
To be successful in this role, we are seeking someone who will enjoy working in a busy role that is challenging, diverse and rewarding. Changing priorities and varied duties will encourage you to continue developing your organisational aptitude and communication skills in a collaborative team environment. We offer professional development courses and on-going continuous improvement is encouraged within our team. Our ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent attention to detail
- 3+ years’ experience in administration
- A tertiary qualification is preferred
There is a wide portfolio associated with this position, therefore the ability to create a rapport with students and stakeholders is essential. Preference will be given to candidates with a good understanding of Microsoft Office, Oracle Service Cloud and online application systems.
