Our Property Department are tasked with providing a leading edge facilities management, planning and development service to the University, ensuring our vast real estate and assets provide a superior environment for our students and staff to learn, work and thrive.

The Property Project Administrator plays a pivotal role in supporting the finances, reporting, and administration of our property projects. As such, a strong financial and administrative background will serve you well in this role.

The role

In this position, you will:

  • Work closely with Project Managers to facilitate the smooth financial and administrative operation of our projects
  • Liaise and work closely with contractors and internal stakeholders to support project delivery
  • Manage project cost estimates, including recommendation letters
  • Process consultant fee agreements, including tender, offers and acceptance
  • Handle purchase orders, invoices and reconciliations
  • Manage various reporting requirements, including project cost, project planning statuses and month end
  • Monitor and maintain project Health and Safety systems and processes
  • Assist project managers in managing minor capital works projects

Who are we looking for?

  • You will be an experienced administrator, with an established background in finance/accounts.
  • You will be highly proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite, with strong clerical and numerical skills.
  • Naturally, you will be highly organised, with the ability and confidence to juggle multiple competing demands.
  • Your communication skills will be advanced, underpinned with excellent interpersonal skills.
