Looking for a “hands on” opportunity? Be responsible for assisting the Property & Procurement Co-ordinator in all aspects of property asset maintenance and replacement for an innovative and forward thinking organisation, based in Greenlane.

As the Property and Procurement Administrator, you will assist the Property & Procurement Co-ordinator in all aspects of asset maintenance, ensuring they are compliant with building regulation standards and OHS requirements. You will also assist with the annual assets management plan and R&M budget.
This is very much a hands-on role and we are looking to attract an experienced individual who can organise day-to-day property maintenance, regular cleaning, supervise on-site repairs and renovations and undertake any basic repairs and maintenance to ensure that properties are maintained to an approved standard – all under the guidance of the Property & Procurement Co-ordinator.
As such it is expected that there will be a grounding of knowledge of project management, and the proven ability to engage with contractors and tradespeople.
Skills, experience and knowledge required in this position will include;
- Experience with all aspects of building maintenance
- Flair for cost effective purchasing
- Knowledge of relevant legislation including the Residential Tenancy Act
- Constructive suggestions for improvement of systems and processes
- Ability to carry out basic property maintenance requirements
- Contractor OHS requirements
- Able to work in a bi-cultural environment
- A full New Zealand driver’s licence
You will assist the Property & Procurement Co-ordinator in developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, contractors and assist in monitoring and reviewing all suppliers and identify cost-effective contractors, tradespeople and secure long-term arrangements.
You will be a self-motivated individual and take a real pride in work outcomes, be disciplined in approach to your daily tasks, including management of your workload.
Whilst you’ll be hands on operationally, you will also be fully conversant with office equipment and technology such as computers, and have the ability to utilise them daily as a key tool of your position.
