About our group
The Information Technology group provides the information, infrastructure and support to the Ministry to get the job done.
The ICT Project Services Team of Project Managers and Coordinators, supported by the Project Office, takes pride in its strong delivery commitment and the high standard of work it achieves. As a result of a valued team member deciding that it is time for her to leave and travel overseas we are currently looking for another Project Coordinator to join us.
We have an exciting programme of projects for the next few years and there will be lots of opportunities to work with a variety of project teams that will deliver some real change and innovation for both the Ministry and the education sector.
About the role
In addition to standard project coordination tasks, you will work with project managers to ensure they deliver the administrative and governance requirements of the Ministry in relation to project methodology, reporting and financial management.
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
- Had some solid project environment experience at administration or coordination level
- Good relationship, communication and writing skills
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Proven Microsoft Project skills
You will also offer the following:
- An understanding of government administration processes
- Ideally be Prince 2 (P2) certified
- Financial system knowledge
- Quality assurance and reporting skills
