The Faculty of Science is looking to appoint a Programme Manager to drive the operational planning for the implementation of its Data Science & ICT post graduate programme. Data Science is a rapidly growing field of study for students at the University of Auckland. As a result, the successful applicant will be supporting the Faculty to ensure effective delivery and implementation of the programme, alongside the provision of student support mechanisms particularly focusing on international students. This is a new, exciting role which will provide plenty of opportunity to work alongside academic staff and professional functions across the University.
Skills and Experience
- Project management experience including implementation of business plans
- Effective at building relationships and managing a wide range of stakeholders
- A strong financial acumen is essential, and the ability to understand budgets, KPIs and track financial success will be imperative in this role
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study or experience working in a tertiary environment is highly advantageous.
