Our Department of Economics is regarded as one of the leading Economics groups in Australasia. We are proud of our comprehensive teaching programmes at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and strong research culture in a wide variety of fields. Faculty members teach at all levels and are active in publishing in leading international peer-reviewed journals, attracting external grants, supervising doctoral students, and contributing to policy debate – domestically as well as internationally.
We are now seeking to appoint a Professional Teaching Fellow on a two year fixed term contract to teach our first year undergraduate Economics courses
Our professional teaching fellows support us to provide high quality teaching experiences to our students. For more detailed information, please refer to the position description.
He kōrero mōu | About you
You will come to us with prior experience delivering engaging research-informed teaching to large audiences. You will be comfortable doing this in person and through online platforms which serves to enhance the student experience.
You will ideally hold a PhD in Economics and that can demonstrate an ability to teach well at all levels of the curriculum.
