The School of Computer Science at the University of Auckland is currently looking for an early career academic to join our diverse and internationally renowned school as a Professional Teaching Fellow. If you are passionate and enthusiastic about teaching and want to build lasting collaborations, and value diversity, we encourage you to apply.

The appointee will be in charge of coordinating and supervising undergraduate projects and teaching into the undergraduate programme.

Duties will include coordinating the assignment and progress of student projects, lecturing to large classes, and working with small student groups in laboratory settings.

Strong organisational and interpersonal skills are important. Experience with students, supervision of projects, and lecturing are essential. Applicants from underrepresented groups in the industry which could include females, Māori, and Pasifika will be gratefully received. Expertise in Software Engineering and Computer Systems will be appreciated.

This is a full time, permanent position based on the University of Auckland’s City Campus. Note that this is a teaching-only position.
