Permanent Professional Learning Manager
We are looking for a person with passion and experience in education to apply their skills, initiative and creative flair. You will have excellent communication skills, be culturally responsive, enjoy working collaboratively with educators and have an ability to recognise business opportunities.
As the Professional Learning Manager, understanding the latest educational & social work developments and research is essential to your success. Ideally, you will come from a teaching background and will be able to use your knowledge and experience to oversee and market the effective delivery of professional learning programmes and workshops. You’ll play a critical role in helping to guide the Kohia centre’s curriculum and adapt current courses and develop innovative face to face and online programmes.
Naturally, you will share the Kohia centre’s vision and will have an ongoing interest in professional development. As you will be joining a highly collaborative team, you will be able to work effectively with others to work towards a common goal.
The Kohia Centre is a modern facility based at Epsom Campus of the University of Auckland. As a key business unit with the Faculty of Education and Social Work. The centre provides timely and up to date professional learning and development opportunities for educators and those working in community settings.
We aim to stay ahead of the game, and as such, look to constantly look to innovate our programmes to excite professionals.
