We are currently inviting expressions of interest from candidates completing their Bachelor’s qualification in Physiotherapy in 2017, who are seeking opportunities in our rotational graduate programme, for consideration for upcoming positions. You will join an excellent team of Allied Health practitioners to gain skills and competencies in physiotherapy assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and discharge planning. You will work alongside your wider Allied Health colleagues using an interdisciplinary model within a multidisciplinary team on the wards to deliver high quality, effective services for our population.
The Core 1 rotations within Auckland City Hospital and Greenlane Clinical Centre are six months long and offer opportunities in:
- Acute Medical
- Older People’s Health Assessment, Treatment and Rehabilitation
- General Surgery
- Cardio-thoracic Surgery
- Musculoskeletal Outpatients
- Cardiorespiratory Outpatients
- Respiratory medicine
- Stroke rehabilitation
What we are looking for in candidates:
- Demonstrated understanding of the theoretical underpinnings of Physiotherapy and its application in practice
- Flexibility and a willingness to work across our different areas to meet service need
- Good team player
- Strong work ethic
