About our team
We’re a team focused on transforming people related information into meaningful insights that inform business decisions. We support the efficient access and capture of people related information to meet internal and external requests.
- regular external reporting such as to the State Services Commission and on-demand external requests such as those under the Official Information Act and Parliamentary Questions
- regular internal reporting such as Monthly/Quarterly people metrics and on-demand internal requests to enable the Ministry to make data driven people decisions.
The team is comprised of psychologists, survey experts and data analysts and we’re looking for one more person to come on board.
About the role
The Ministry of Education has a number of high priority pieces of work going on in the people analytics space e.g. a newly implemented HRIS system, a new approach to how we use analytics to inform insights and new sources of information to integrate and understand.
We are looking for a new permanent People Capability Analyst to join our team.
We need someone who will deliver high quality people analytics and data driven insights to internal and external customers.
With our changing approach to how we use analytics to inform insights we’re looking for a person who wants to help us design new ways to tell the story of the meaning behind the data.
Someone with an understanding of how information can be extracted from source systems, analysed and paint a picture is who we’re after. It’s an exciting and changing time and we need someone who is passionate about the difference people analytics can make and can innovate while delivering in a fast paced environment.
You might be a data and insights specialist with a few years’ experience looking to move into the people analytics space or an early in career organisational psychologist who loves creating data driven insights or someone who’s already spent time working in the people analytics field and is looking for a new challenge.
Some experience in using Excel, SuccessFactors, SQL, PowerBI and Qualtrics would be useful.
