Job Description

Unitec is in the midst of significant change. We’re well on our way to creating a brand new campus with best in class teaching and student facilities. Through a unique combination of world-class theory and hands-on experience we help transform the lives of our students and we create better outcomes for them.

Your position

As Pacific Administrator and Projects Co-ordinator you’ll perform a key role, reporting directly to our Pacific Director.

No one day is the same, as you’ll cover a wide range of tasks from administration support to project coordination.

You’re in charge of booking meetings, right through to planning, and overseeing orientation for our Pacific students. You’ll also lead Pacific Centre projects and produce project status reports and organise regular project meetings.

Pacific centre runs many events from Pacific fanau evenings to Pacific graduation and more. Your role is to oversee the planning, organising and execution of these events.

Your experience

It is likely you’re currently a PA or an Events Coordinator who is looking for a new challenge to utilise the skills you have.

You must be computer savvy with strong organisational skills and excellent communication.

You will manage a varied and busy work load so excellent attention to detail and accuracy is imperative. We are also looking for you to have experience in leading and coordinating project and events.

Our students are the heart of Unitec; therefore, you are someone who has worked in a customer centric environment and is passionate about mentoring and supporting people to succeed.

Sound interesting?

In exchange for your hard work, you’ll receive a competitive salary, as well as progressive opportunities to develop your career.

Come work at our beautiful green campus in Central Auckland, with scenic forest pathways, a waterfall and takahē roaming the fields.
