If you are passionate about teaching and learning and have experience in embedding Pacific knowledge, apply for this Pacific role at Unitec.
At Unitec, our students don’t just learn the theory; we like to learn the practical side too. The key to getting to where we want to go is having the right people.
We approach learning differently to enable better futures for our students and communities, and our combination of theory and hands-on experience will give students the skills to meet the changing needs of employers.
This is an exciting time to join a sector that will transform vocational education in New Zealand for future generations. This is your opportunity to be at the forefront of this change.
The Student Learning and Achievement team aims to positively impact Unitec students on their learning journey and support them in achieving their aspirations.
As a Pacific Academic Development Lecturer you’ll provide specialist academic support for both undergraduate and postgraduate students to contribute to the success and retention of Unitec students. To achieve this, you’ll work in partnership with the Schools, Learning and Achievement teams and the Pacific Centre. At times you’ll partner with other Student services within the institute and the wider community.
You’ll play a pivotal role in contributing to the learning development of Pacific students by providing engaging teaching and learning services and resources that will enhance their academic knowledge.
