Live and Learn Tonga is working with communities across Tonga towards the recovery of Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) facilities following Cyclone Gita in early 2018. Growth of the organisation is needed to support more than 40 communities on Tongatapu and ‘Eua.
In this role you will work alongside Live and Learn Tonga staff to review, update and implement operating procedures. You’ll have strong skills in communication, admin, finance and organisation, and will provide on-the-job training to staff across the organisation.
Key to this assignment will be working with the operational team and Country Manager to adapt Live and Learn International’s policies and procedures to a Tongan context.
You’ll be based in Nuku’alofa, Tonga’s capital, for 18-months which enjoys a mild and comfortable climate all year round.
About you:
- Experience in reviewing operational systems
- Experience in designing and developing information, management and operational procedures
- Experience in staff development
- Experience in mentoring/training
This is an 18-month assignment and is placed in Tonga.
