An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Communications and Marketing Coordinator, reporting to the Campus Life Communications and Marketing Manager.
Campus Life’s purpose is to create a vibrant, engaging and supportive campus experience for students during their time at University. Its services encompass both wellbeing and engagement- including University Health & Counselling, Early Childhood Centres, Accommodation, Sport & Recreation, Event, Retail and Catering Services, and Student Engagement and Clubs.
This position is accountable for the production of material to support Campus Life’s marketing activities, with particular focus on the Student Engagement and Wellbeing portfolios. This includes writing, updating and producing publications and other collateral; managing & editing web content and social media channels; reporting on campaign performance and assisting other members of the Campus Life C&M team as and when required.
The following attributes will be second nature to you:
- Confident communication skills with the ability to build relationships and liaise with a range of different stakeholders
- Proactive with the ability to use initiative and self-manage workloads
- Excellent written communication ability, including writing for print and web publications
- Producing content for web, video, social media and other platforms
- Editing and proof reading skills
- Project management skills including a strong attention to detail
- Adherence to writing and style guides
This role is ideal for a candidate who has experience and/ or a qualification in marketing & communications. You are innovative, organised and passionate about marketing in the digital space.
