Job Description

As a Levy Assessor, you will be responsible for helping improve the accuracy of business customer levies by ensuring they pay the correct levy depending on their business activity. This includes responding to enquiries, providing classification and other technical advice and approving policy changes within a delegated financial authority.

Above all, we are looking for an individual who has experience in researching and reviewing business information and identifying business-focused solutions. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. An understanding of the levy classification framework would be beneficial but not essential.

We are particularly looking for the following attributes:

  • Background in conducting investigations
  • Great eye for detail
  • Ability to understand complex information and legislation
  • Confident, engaging and professional
  • Good understanding of business structures and financial information

This is a unique opportunity to join the Levy Classification team and extend yourself as a technical assessor and getting the satisfaction from delivering value to our business customers.

The base salary range is from $52,803 to $62,121 and we add an attractive 9% super contribution to your overall package as a benefit.
