We have a fantastic fixed term opportunity (2 x 0.5 FTE) available for someone with passion and skills as a te reo Māori lecturer. If you have the commitment and dedication to make a difference in culture and education, then this could be the exciting step in your career.
The successful applicant will have:
- Qualifications level 5 or higher relevant to teaching te reo Māori
- Fluency in written and spoken te reo Māori
- Experience writing and developing Mātauranga Māori resources
- Current Full New Zealand Drivers Licence
- Experience working with adult learners would be advantageous.
The diverse environment of our students will require you to have experience working in a multicultural environment with tertiary teaching experience or facilitation with adults. You could be expected to teach across campuses. Fluency and qualifications in te reo Māori are essential along with the flexibility to teach evening and weekend classes.
