InZone Education Foundation is a charitable organisation that provides Māori and Pacific island students with an opportunity to live in a whānau-like hostel environment at two central locations and attend Auckland Grammar School and Epsom Girls Grammar School. Our students come from various areas of Aotearoa and our role is to provide wrap around support academically and pastorally. Our values are strongly aligned with our korowai o kaupapa Māori and as an organisation we are passionately committed to guiding students with leadership potential, proven motivation and who have the desire to achieve, with a focus on academics and/or in sport.

This is an amazing opportunity to shine in a multi-faceted PA type position with huge reach and variety. Without missing a beat, you will be providing administrative support to the CEO and Senior Leadership team, so having the ability to transition seamlessly through various requests and tasks is crucial to your role as the Leadership Team Assistant.

Your ability to work autonomously and self-directed is critical to your success, as most of the work you do is reliant on your ability to manage your own workload. As the successful applicant, you will exhibit high personal standards, be proactive, display initiative, be open to new ideas and maintain confidentiality.

In addition you will:

  • Have the ability to create meaningful relationships with all SLT, staff and students across the organisation.
  • Be highly confident and competent in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with databases.
  • Demonstrate a working understanding of tikanga Māori and Pacific people.
  • Demonstrate sound planning skills and an ability to multi-task, enabling you to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Hold a current/clean Full Drivers Licence

Shortlisted applicants will be required to undergo a Police check. Applicants for this position must have NZ Residency/ NZ Citizenship.
