The Pae Ora Māori Health Directorate at MidCentral District Health Board have an exciting opportunity available for a Registered Nurse to join the team as Kaiaraara Whānau – Whānau Ora Link Nurse.
Providing leadership in quality cultural and clinical care across the hospital setting, this role is a key support for whānau, promoting Māori responsive quality care and facilitating seamless healthcare pathways.
To be successful in this role, you will be a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 12 months bi-cultural experience in a health or hospital setting and have achieved a minimum of Level 2 PDRP. You will have strength in Te Reo me ona Tikanga Māori and a well developed ability to promote cultural values and understanding to enhance health outcomes for Māori. You will have a demonstrated track record in role modelling partnership in the spirit of Te Tiriti o Waitangi with strengths in influencing and relationship building.
