Job Description

Business Intelligence Team is part of the University’s Planning and Information Office which leads and coordinates strategic and academic planning across the University.  This is achieved by providing a range of information, support and advice, including provision of strategic and tactical information; monitoring and assessing the institution’s performance; and coordinating the planning process.As a member of the Business Intelligence Team you will deliver high-quality BI solutions by working with IT teams and internal customers in a diverse and exciting environment. The successful candidate will need to have strong technical skills and excellent communication skills to be able to engage with business and technical users.

  • Design and develop business intelligence solutions to help internal customers extract meaningful information and insights

We’re looking for people with capability in the following areas:

  • Minimum 6 months of ETL experience using Wherescape RED.
  • Some prior experience in MicroStrategy.
  • Good PL/SQL skills.
  • Skilled in DW methodologies and techniques.
  • Some Experience of unit and system testing, and quality assurance, and documentation.
  • Experience of SDLC and agile development methodologies.
  • Preferred to have some prior experience in Oracle Warehouse Builder.
