Our internal communications team are the voice of Unitec, working closely with our staff and leadership team to keep everyone informed and engaged.
One of your main responsibilities will be to share all the latest news and events with our staff by creating great content for newsletters and our intranet.
You will assist with organising impactful events and you’ll always be on the lookout for the latest ‘scoop’, coming up with new and interesting ways to share your stories.
Your focus on building relationships will assist you in becoming a strategic advisor to our various networks and pathways (how we describe faculties and departments). Your support will be varied whether it’s creating a communications plan or an intranet page, or developing engaging and informative content.
You’re a story teller who loves hunting down interesting leads and developing appealing content that can be shared across multiple channels.
You’re likely to currently work in an internal communications position, or have done so in the recent past, and you may be looking for a new challenge. Either way, you are someone who has excellent writing skills with the ability to write in various styles.
You’re someone who can take the initiative, work independently, multi-task and prioritise.
We are looking for someone who is confident in consulting and collaborating within teams, and preferably has proven experience in event coordination and video production.
