- Forward thinking tech led consultancy
- Great culture – a consultancy that walks the talk!
Are you a mechanical or structural engineer that wants to work for a firm that truly values you, supports you, provides the latest tech – in an environment that can bring out the best in you? And can provide you with a great range of projects to work on and lead?
Welcome to BVT Engineering – a boutique engineering firm and industry leader in seismic interior engineering and compliance. And a firm that does things a little differently. In this role you’ll have the latest technology at your fingers, be part of an organisation that is cloud based and future focused, working on sizable projects around the motu and beyond, and be able to work flexibly – either based in the central Auckland office – or elsewhere.
And doing things differently means you won’t get bogged down in admin, timesheets, materials pricing or even hand calcs – instead you’ll be working with tech at your fingertips, in a high trust environment where you bring your expertise and focus on the work that really matters to you.
We’re seeking an intermediate to senior engineer to join this forward-thinking consultancy to design and support the building of New Zealand’s hospitals, schools, prisons, apartments, malls, warehouses and office towers.
So, what are we looking for in you?
- Commercial experience and the ability to interpret complex commercial plans
- Great communication and project management skills
- An engineering qualification and be on the path toward professional registration
- A minimum five years’ work experience as an engineer
- An affinity to tech – or keen to embrace technology led engineering
And in return, by joining BVT you’ll be a part of a friendly, close knit team with strong values. A team that is technically enabled and operates on a high trust model. A team where flexibility, family-friendliness, trust, integrity, your development and well-being, are truly part of the company fabric.
We’d love for you to join the team in their modern offices in Victoria Park Market, Auckland – but embracing flexibility, family friendliness and hybrid working, we welcome applications from other parts of New Zealand.
