The University of Auckland currently has opportunities for 2 experienced and proactive HR Advisors to join our team.

Who are we looking for?
As a trusted advisor you will be relationship focused and demonstrate the credibility to establish collaborative relationships across the University. You will have a minimum of 2-3 years’ HR generalist experience working within a diverse, complex and/or fast paced environment. Ideally you will be tertiary qualified in a HR discipline.
As a member of the HR Advisory team you will partner with leaders and provide HR generalist support for a diverse portfolio. Key to your success, will be your ability to provide high level quality coaching and advice, with strong relationship building and influencing skills. You will have a customer centric can-do attitude with a flexible, positive and proactive approach.
There will be ample variety in the role and on any given day you can be coaching managers on change management processes, performance management, remuneration, university HR processes and employment relations or facilitating workshops.
Success will be measured through your ability to partner with leaders and work with the HR Manager to provide advice and support across the HR spectrum, allowing you the opportunity to develop and draw upon your advisory, coaching and influencing skills.
You will be arriving at a very exciting time as we focus on a customer centric delivery model. Candidates who enjoy being ‘hands on’ and have experience with HRIS applications (ideally PeopleSoft) would be well suited to this role. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate resilience, strong attention to detail and a passion for building relationships to ensure your success in this role.
