The work of UniServices supports the leadership position of the University of Auckland, and allows the University to expand and enhance its capabilities in commercial and basic research.

We now have an opportunity for a Funds Advisor in our Funds and Submissions Team to support the international portfolio. To be effective in this role you will possess the following –

* The ability to multi-task in a high volume deadline-driven environment
* A collaborative approach to being a real team player

The successful applicant will be responsible for:
Providing advice to our International Team, researchers and research support staff on the requirements of a portfolio of international funders;

* Initiating, managing, advising, coordinating funding rounds to key international funders, working closely with other contributors and support personnel;
* Facilitating a range of workshops and other similar initiatives as required;
* Engaging successfully in peer-to-peer business relationships with funders in the portfolio.

A relevant tertiary qualification and a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a large complex organisation is essential. Research Management experience within a public/government agency will be an advantage. Prior experience in the International public good funding environment, whilst not essential, will be favourably considered.
