Digital Coordinator (Fixed-term)

Safekids Aotearoa, Starship Child Health

  • One year fixed term contract – parental leave cover
  • Monday – Friday, full-time position (40 hours per week)

Safekids Aotearoa is the injury prevention service within Starship Child Health (Auckland DHB). Partnering with a national network of community providers, we design and implement programmes at a national level that have a potential impact on the safety of children. Our mission is to reduce the incidence and severity of unintentional injuries to children aged 0 to 14 years, so children of Aotearoa are free to enjoy their childhood without being adversely affected by unintentional injuries.

We are looking for a Digital Coordinator to join our busy service in a fixed-term capacity. This is a full-time position based at the Greenlane Clinical Centre.

As the Digital Coordinator you will be involved in a range of social media activities to ensure high quality content and engagement with our online community. You will curate; develop, share, promote and monitor the performance of our content across all Safekids’ social media platforms. You will develop and maintain our social media schedule, allocate and monitor social media marketing as well as design and execute social media posts. You will be very well organised to be able to manage administrative tasks and behind-the-scenes activities.
