Job Description

The CMPA’s focus is on ensuring the best marketing, recruitment, engagement and retention strategies to increase Māori and Pasifika participation and success as students at CPIT and subsequently in the work force as we rebuild our city. 2012 will see Christchurch reaping the benefit of significant effort in 2011; our aim is to continue to build on this strength.

We are seeking a proactive, highly organised Administrator to take on a key support role for the CMPA Manager, staff and students. We need you to bring well-honed administrative skills and experience in project teams to the dynamic, hard-working, and inspiring group of professionals who are the CMPA team.

While we don’t want you to reinvent the wheel we are keen for you to use initiative and take responsibility for ensuring the systems and practices are as efficient and effective as possible.

If you are proud of your understanding of Tikanga Māori and your skills in Te Reo Maori, or of a Pasifika language and culture, you rate your English language communication as excellent (written and spoken) and you enjoy working to support others in a busy, varied environment then consider this full time employment opportunity.
