At New Zealand’s largest and leading Faculty of Science, situated in the heart of Auckland City, we offer a range of programmes to more than 8,000 students.

Opportunities exist in our Communications and Marketing team for two self-motivated Content Writer and Coordinators to play crucial roles promoting our study opportunities, academic research, events and achievements.

For both roles, we’re looking for individuals with a passion for communication, who can combine technical skills with exceptional written English.

Core responsibilities for both roles include:

  • Writing, editing and coordinating the production of high quality print and digital content.
  • Writing and publishing user-centric web content via our content management system Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Providing subject matter expertise to influence content decisions.

Additionally, the first role leads our social media presence by implementing our social media content strategy and managing faculty Facebook and Twitter channels.

The second role leads the production of InSCight, the Faculty of Science’s annual magazine, maintaining our new strategic direction, creative concept and content.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A bachelor’s degree with strong writing experience.
  • Experience working with web content management systems.
  • Experience with web analytics tools and SEO.
  • Experience working with high-performing teams and complex environments.
