Job Description

Be based in either Hamilton, Dunedin, Wellington, Christchurch or Auckland

As our Client Service Leader – Workforce Management, you will play a key role in leading a high performing team of Workforce Planners, Real-time Analysts, Systems Specialist and Systems Administrator.

ACC is shifting the way we work with our clients to deliver meaningful support and guidance to over two million people recovering from accident or injury each year.

You will be solely responsible for leading our workforce management strategy and ensuring your teams of people are integrated to deliver great service to our customers. Putting the right people in the right place will require you to have great planning, workforce management, and service delivery skills all within a project managed approach. This is a busy role with complex challenges, so you will need to have great problem solving skills, emotional awareness and situational judgement.

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • Experience in a people manager role, particularly if you established and led a workload management function in a complex environment
  • Knowledge and experience using various workforce management tools and technologies
  • Experience leading teams in a service delivery environment – proven ability to motivate, coach and mentor to achieve outstanding outcomes
  • Great stakeholder management skills – working in partnership across the business and being well connected with external communities
