This is an new role excitingat Hato Hone St John which has been created to provide organisational development solutions to enable us to deliver on our enterprise strategies. As part of this role we are looking for someone who can champion Tiriti Alignment and Diversity and Inclusion, identifying core development needs and presenting solutions.
This role sits within the Capability and Culture team which is part of the wider People and Organisational Strategy (P&OS) directorate at Hato Hone St John.
Reporting to the National Capability and Culture Manager you will be working closely and supporting these key focus areas:
D&I - Working with the Diversity and Inclusion council you will lead the formation and implementation of the Diversity and Inclusion Strategy. You will be responsible for reviewing the Diversity and Inclusion approach to ensure that it is relevant, sustainable and in a great position to deliver continuous improvement against diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Tiriti Alignment – We are looking for someone who can play an active role in assessing the capability needs of our people to support and enable the Tiriti Alignment throughout Hato Hone St John. This would be done in partnership with the Maori Responsiveness Team and the Kaitohutohu-a-iwi (National Maori Advisor).
Enterprise level Organisation Development – In addition to our D&I and Tiriti Alignment you will work closely with other project and enterprise level strategy teams to identify organisational development needs.
To implement solutions, you will work closely with your colleagues in the wider People & Organisational Strategy and Capability and Culture Teams to create solutions to enable effectively delivery of the relative strategy or project.
So what are we looking for in you?
- Qualification in Organisational Development/psychology is desirable
- Understanding of Te Ao Maori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Te Reo fluency and knowledge of Maori protocol
- Coaching and Facilitation experience
- Experience in an OD/Learning specialist role
- Culture and capability diagnostic ability
- Can influence culture change and has a great understanding and knowledge of diversity issues in NZ
- Innovative thinking and solutions focused
- Role model for collaboration, openness, and inclusion
- High personal integrity and values-driven
