We are looking for experienced cafe wait staff with barista knowledge with at least 2 years cafe experience in a busy cafe.
The position covers all areas of our food and beverage offering giving the crew member a chance to offer their experience in all areas.
As a cafe waiter and barista you will be responsible for consistently making great coffee at pace, safely preparing and handling food and drinks according to health and safety regulations, placing sales orders through our POS system and handling payment transactions. You will also be providing assistance with function catering and be guest focused. Commitment to excellent customer service, attention to detail and the ability to multitask efficiently are keys to success for this fast pace hospitality environment.
You Must Have:
- Proven 2 + years’ experience as a cafe waiter / barista
- Confidence operating a professional espresso machine
- Passion for good understanding of food and beverage
- Excellent communication skills and a strong grasp of English language verbal and written
We are looking for genuine team players with outgoing and engaging energy who are comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. You will use your customer services etiquette; maintaining professionalism at all times. We welcome enthusiasm, self-motivation and the ability to hit the ground running at this immediate start role.
This is a Monday to Friday position with the occasional evening required.
