You will have the opportunity to work beside and learn from these individuals, whilst applying your academic knowledge and building and supporting large scale practical solutions in the real-world environment!
As an added bonus you get to personalise your experience based on where your ICT passion lies – you help to decide on specific areas of work as you work through 4 rotations over the 12 month duration. No chance of feeling stuck in the same place doing data entry like some first jobs in the market! How cool is that?
Sound like an awesome opportunity? We’ll be looking for two AUT graduates with exceptional personal drive and passion to succeed. You’ll have an understanding and real willingness to learn, have great ‘C’ skills and ideally a recommendation and positive reference from your lecturer!
Other important criteria:
- This will be your first, proper full-time role within the IT industry
- Open to 2017 AUT graduates of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, the Business school or a relevant field of study
- You must be eligible to work for 12 months in New Zealand (If you require a post study work visa please see attached or contact Elberta Chan or Rohit Hazra on 0800 AUT UNI (0800 288 864)
The roles will be for fixed term 12 month employment periods, starting in November 2017. In addition to the priceless experience you’ll pick up, you’ll also receive a competitive salary to make sure you’re still able to save for the next iPhone or keep up the flat white diet!
