About our team
The MyHR Services team is part of the HR Operations team, in People Capability. The team are the first point of call, after the intranet, for managers with HR related queries. This can be for information on HR policies, procedures and processes, recruitment and employment legislation – which ensures that managers have access to correct consistent advice when they need it.
About the role
The Assistant HR Advisor provides managers with advice and support for all people-related queries. They respond to manager queries via phone, self-service portals and face to face interactions, supporting managers through the recruitment process, preparing employment documentation, and providing functional advice. The team have a strong focus on process improvement initiatives, working closely with customers to ensure we are meeting their needs.
To be successful in this role you will have a customer services background, self-managing, with a strong desire to improve how we do things.
You will also offer:
- one to two years HR administrative experience, ideally with experience preparing employment documentation
- HR related tertiary qualification
- high levels of attention to detail and accuracy in a busy deadline driven role
- confident with a range of computer systems.
