Are you a security practitioner? Do you have knowledge of the Physical Security Requirements (PSR)? Are you interested in working with other Principals/Advisors to promote a strong and sustainable health, safety, security and privacy culture at the Ministry of Education?
We are offering a fantastic opportunity to join the Health, Safety, Security and Privacy team, come and join us and help make a difference.
Reporting to the Head of Health, Safety, Security and Privacy this role is responsible for promoting and driving improvements across health, safety, security and privacy. Proactive engagement and building relationships is a key focus of the role, alongside compliance to all relevant legislation, and according to best practice.
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
- Experience in security (relating to the PSR) in an advisory capacity
- Desire to increase learning and knowledge across health and safety as well as security and privacy
- Excellent collaboration skills
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Effective time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong capability in the full Microsoft Office Suite
- The ability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and tangatawhenuatanga
