Part-Time Administrator – Ngā Tauira Māori
About the role
E ngā mana, e ngā reo, e ngā karangatanga maha o te ao hurihuri nei, tēnā koutou katoa. Ka rapua e mātou o Ngā Tauira Māori me te Whare Wānanga o Tāmaki Makaurau, te taupaepae tino pai rawa atu. Ahakoa he iti te wā, he pounamu te mahi.
A permanent part-time position (20 hours per week) is now available for an experienced office administrator. The role provides a full range of administrative support to the Ngā Tauira Māori Executive Team and will include reception, the daily operational running of the office, minute taking, finance administration, event management and engagement with the Ngā Tauira Māori.
The role is located at the University of Auckland City Campus. Ngā Tauira Māori is the association that represents all Māori students at the University. Its mission is to utilise Māori tikanga and te reo Māori to “nurture, encourage and support Māori students in their academic, cultural and social development and achievements, generally in the context of tino rangatiratanga and in a manner consistent with Te Tiriti o Waitangi.”
Ngā Tauira Māori is responsible for advocating better conditions for Māori students on campus and all issues pertaining to Māori and students in general.
