<p>My client is a small but growing national trust that provides community based, recovery focused support services for wh&#257;nau across Aotearoa. Their core focus is interfacing with wh&#257;nau at the coal face to assist people attain and live rich and fulfilling lives on the way to reaching their life potential.</p>
<p>This organisation is not only focused on the wellbeing of those who need support and guidance through their journey and are equally committed to fostering strong relationships with their M&#257;ori communities.</p>
<p>They are seeking an office “all-rounder” who along with being both flexible and resilient, who can wear a number of p&#333;tae that range from the day-to-day administration through to arranging (and attending) w&#257;nanga at local marae.</p>
<p>Reporting directly to the Office Manager, your role is to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise your workload. No day will be the same so you will need to draw on your previous experience to ensure you are contributing toward the smooth running of the office.</p>
<p>In addition you will possess:</p>
<ul>
<li>Clear communication, planning and organisational skills.</li>
<li>Possess a compassionate, caring, non-judgmental and supportive attitude.</li>
<li>Previous administration / office experience, 1-2 years preferably.</li>
<li>Initiative and a proven willingness to go the extra mile when required.</li>
<li>Intermediate computer literacy across the MS Suite 2010 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint).</li>
<li>Full, clean driver’s licence and police record.</li>
<li>Ability to pick up new tasks quickly and have a natural talent working with office systems and processes.</li>
<li>An understanding of tikanga M&#257;ori and te reo M&#257;ori is a definite advantage.</li>
<li>Ideally you will have previously worked within the Not for Profit , NGO or local/central government sector.</li>
</ul>
<p>We invite applications from those candidates seeking 20-30 hours per week. The temporary role is paying between $15.00 and $16.00 (plus 8% holiday pay) per hour.</p>
